Garrett Gladden Medals at State Track

On May 22 and 23, Everton track headed toward Jefferson City for the Class 1 State Track Meet. On Friday, Garrett Gladden competed in the shot put event. He placed 2nd in state in shot put with a throw of 47’ 7.5” breaking his own school record by close to a foot. On Saturday, it was time for the discus event. Garrett threw 137’ 11” which gave him a fifth place finish. He would like to thank Coach Cameron for all her support over the years and would like to wish the Everton Track Team much more success in the years to come. Garrett will be attending Central Methodist in the Fall where he will play basketball and continue to throw for Track and Field.
